Designed
by Marc Lombard and released by Jeaneau in 2003 this comfortable modern
little yacht is one of the first to be available in our home waters. She
has a smooth hull and roof contours, and a large cockpit. She is beautiful
to look at and fun to sail.
She has a spacious interior and excellent accommodation.
She never fails to please being equally suited to a luxury cruising, corporate
events or friendly regattas. Our regular clients love the Sun Odyssey
35, a true test of a yachts reputation, particularly as she has to live
up to the rest of the fleet!
With the classic Jeanneau lines and highest level of comfort
she is a joy to be on board. Being coded for eight and having berthing
for nine, there is plenty of room onboard for a full crew. She is equipped
with shore power, hot and cold pressure water system throughout and all
cabin space is centrally heated (3 cabins, heads and the saloon). She
has a good size galley with a 140-litre fridge and a high standard of
cookware. Below decks she is finished in Burma teak and blue velvet Paradiso
upholstery.
The imaginative layout: three-position saloon table and
stowable chart table, provides for maximum space and comfort. Additional
hull ports are fitted in the after berths. She has a generous and well
appointed head (including shower) and CD FM radio.
Instrumentation
Raymarine log, depth, speed and wind instruments are displayed at the
helm. Down below she is fitted with a DSC, VHF radio (with cockpit speaker)
and a colour chart plotter.
The Rig
The mast head rig is fitted with a roller reefing headsail and a single
line reefing main (fitted with a lazy bag). She is very easily handled
by a short handed crew. All control lines are led aft through two banks
of jammers / clutches on each side of the coach roof which is fitted with
two self-tailing winches. A symmetric spinnaker is provided within the
cost for all Skippered and Corporate Charters.
On Deck
The large cockpit is more then capable of seating the full crew whilst
sailing or at rest and is equipped with a stowable table. Two self-tailing
primary winches are conveniently situated in easy reach of the crew. Additional
mid-ship cleats are provided to help with the busy weekend moorings. There
is an anchor windless to take the strain in ground tackle recovery.
