| JP MORGAN ROUND THE ISLAND RACE 2008
First sailed in 1931, the race still competes for the Gold Roman Bowl, the legendary trophy presented by the race's founder Cyril Windeler. Little did he realise what he was starting. Today, over 1500 yachts, from maxi-yachts to the smallest offshore categories, and from speedy multihulls to sedate old-timers, with Admirals Cuppers competing alongside families having fun; the race is a multitude of races within a race. Round the Island Race 28th June 2008 As in previous years MEC Sail are offering their fleet of yachts for this prestigious event. Qualified skippers can be provided if required. The yachts can be prepared, and crew kit or company logos can be provided with corporate clothing in company colours if required. Pre-event training is available on all our yachts and this can be combined into a training/ cruising weekend if required. Please contact us for further details and prices. |
