We cater for novices and experienced sailors with all our skippers able to provide. advice on the finer points of racing, or simply to help the uninitiated unravel the jargon of sailing.
Our fleet of yachts are based in Ocean Village Marina Southampton, this allows easy access by road and ample free parking close to the boats.
Should you wish to organise an event for your company whether it be a treasure hunt in the Solent or joining in the weekend-long Cowes to Cherbourg race, we can provide the boats, skippers, catering and training to ensure your goals are met.
HOSPITALITY
If you are weary of the run-of-the-mill hospitality events why not try a corporate sailing day. We can cater from 2 to 150 people on up to 15 matched yachts. We will customise the package to suit your requirements. This can be based on a single day out with catering on board or at one of the prestigious yacht clubs in Cowes, to a multi-day sail with accommodation on the boats or in hotels. Prices are from £80 per person for a day sail and some catering options can be found here.
Our skippers are from a corporate background and although primarily concerned with your safety will strive to ensure all on board enjoy the day and achieve their goals. Our location at Ocean Village is ideal being just 55 minutes from the M25, and our location gives you immediate access by foot to some of the liveliest night spots, clubs, bars and restaurants in Southampton. We can plan the itinerary to suit your company requirement and the prevailing conditions, and our gaol is to provide your party with unparallel levels of service - a typical itinery for your sailing day can be found here.

STAFF TEAM BUILDING
Because we want the experience with MEC Sail to be enjoyable as well as exciting we will work to ensure that the programme we arrange is within the aspirations and capabilities of your party. Even so, especially where the aim is staff development, we will promote team building and encourage the crew to use their initiative and make supervised decisions in unfamiliar surroundings.
Outdoor training can be a powerful means of developing self understanding, interpersonal skills and building teams. Our skippers will adopt a variety of exercises to ensure your staff and yourselves get the most out of the experience. Within one day staff members will be faced with knot-tying through to using the sophisticated navigational equipment on board the yacht.
REGATTAS
We offer private and corporate clients the opportunity to take part in fleet racing. We can provide a fully-organised event to include race training and ‘round the cans’ races in the Solent on a fleet of matched racing yachts. We will provide skippers and if necessary a crew in order that all ability levels can get the most out of the experience and take an active roll in full-on racing. Our in house race organisers will provide all on the water support to make your event as exciting as possible, with multiple races being organised if required. All of our yachts are prepared for matched racing and all safety equipment is supplied. The opportunity for everyone to take part is guaranteed.
We are also able to organise industry sailing events if you wish to involve other companies in a major competitive event.
YACHT OWNERSHIP
Should your company wish to purchase a yacht we can provide:
