Experience Days & Weekends

Available for individuals, couples or small groups, our experience days or weekends are a great way to learn to sail or brush up your skills with like-minded sailors.

As an alternative to a formal learning course, you can have a relaxed, fun, sailing experience combined with exploring local ports full of history, enjoying the beautiful scenery and finishing with sundowners in the cockpit.

No prior experience is required, your professional skipper will take the requirements of each crew member and ensure that everybody finishes their time onboard having achieved their goal and enhanced their knowledge – this could be further general sailing experience, taking the helm, passage planning, tuition in navigation or learning to use the spinnaker on one of our dedicated spinnaker tuition weekends.

Starting and finishing from Ocean Village Marina, Southampton, we will spend the day in the Solent, while weekend charters will include an overnight stop at Cowes, Lymington or Yarmouth or perhaps further to Poole, with accommodation and food and drink onboard included.

Our yachts are Department of Transport certified and the skipper holds an RYA/MCA commercial endorsement. All equipment is carried on board including wet weather gear, life jackets and life lines.

We also offer longer charters for those wishing to go further afield, either crossing the Channel and exploring the Channel Isles or staying in home territory and cruising to Poole and Weymouth.
