LITTLE BRITAIN CHALLENGE CUP
This years Little Brittain Challenge Cup unfortunately had less numbers than last year, and the grand marquee was not present. However the yachts that made the pilgrimage had good winds and some challenging racing. Mec Sails 40.7 was up with the leaders until the gallant crew wrapped the genoa halyard around the forestay and finally had to retire. Several other 40.7s were involved in collisions some very serious. Hopefully next years event will be back to its old self..

DARTMOUTH REGATTA AND FOWEY WEEK
Well done to Flying Banana and Marins crew who made the effort to get down to the West country and partake in some fine racing. A good all round reslut for a crew that had not sailed together on a Sigma 38 before. Next she took part in the Dartmouth regatta and featured in the top two Sigma 38s. A note to the committee though that a different course would be appreciated in the future from just windward leeward over the three days. Another great time had by everyone although the ride back to Ocean Village in 45knots of breeze reaching 14 knots takes a little beating!
